Crystal Cave is a cave near Kutztown in Berks County, Pennsylvania, United States, the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch Country.It was discovered by William Merkel and John Gehret on November 12, 1871, and quickly became a popular tourist attraction. Shortly after its discovery, newspapers reported that it was "more beautiful than the famous Mammoth cave in Kentucky."

In 2000, the so-called "Cave of Crystals" was discovered after the chamber had been pumped free of its waters for mining operations. (The chamber was actually drained in 1975, but remained unexplored until 2000.) Without the mineral-rich waters to provide material for the crystals, their growth is on hold.

Cave of the Crystals or Giant Crystal Cave (Spanish: Cueva de los cristales) is a cave connected to the Naica Mine at a depth of 300 metres (980 ft), in Naica, Chihuahua, Mexico. Whilst up until now the crystals have grown steadily and slowly, they will grow no further unless the cave floods once again.
